Three looks from one photo
- Photo: your room as you shot it, with Santa kneeling by the tree or the sofa.
- Night camera: green night vision, grain, scan lines and a timestamp of 11:47 PM on December 24, the way home security footage looks in the dark.
- Doorbell camera: a wide fisheye lens that bends the room toward the edges, a dark rim and a LIVE bar.
Take a photo that works
- Stand in the doorway at chest height, so the room looks the way your family sees it when they walk in.
- Keep some open floor in front of the tree in the shot: Santa needs room to kneel.
- Turn on the tree lights and a lamp or two. Santa is lit by the room's own light.
- The editor works on a square from the middle of your photo, so keep the tree near the center.
